The festive season is upon us and if you are like me you gave up physical shopping years ago, the advent of the internet has made Christmas shopping a lot more pleasant experience for many of us but do you sometimes yearn to be out there, fighting through the crowds, trying to navigate your way through crowded shops packed full of people and screaming children? No? But if you do want to replicate that experience without having to leave your home you can play Christmas Shopper Simulator 2: Black Friday.

Whilst the introduction here may not have made it sound particularly appealing Christmas Shopper Simulator is actually a well-made and humorous game, the idea is to fight your way through the crowds on black Friday in a British shopping center, the game looks nice and has been well designed. Some of it is very funny as you can use different items such as fire extinguishers, brooms and plungers to knock other shoppers over and make a clearer path for yourself, you also gain more money to buy more things the more people that you knock over. Your mission is to make your way through the shopping list of items you have and collect all your Christmas gifts for your family in amongst the crowds of people. This game is like Black Friday Simulator!
The controls can be a little difficult to get used to and sometimes the movement of your character feels a bit strange you tend to crab walk when moving from side to side rather than turning and moving in that direction and it would be nice if the camera followed you a bit more naturally but as free games go this is not bad at all, yes it is a publicity stunt for the British video game store chain “Game” but we can forgive anyone if they are giving us free to play games in the process!
Christmas Shopper Simulator 2: Black Friday download is silly and fun and pretty much perfect for this time of year, so gather the family round, pour a glass of eggnog and get shopping!
